Bluestar Receives GSA Approval to Become Federal Contractor!
The United States General Services Administration (GSA) named Blue Star Learning, a computer training provider, to its select federal agency contractors list. "This is a lengthy and rigorous process from solicitation to the selection of vendors. Applicants are carefully reviewed in key areas such as appropriate pricing, technical qualifications, past performance, as well as a Dun & Bradstreet rating", according to the GSA's management service center in Washington.
Blue Star Learning joins a select group of GSA contractors who have met its stringent approval requirements to do business with other government agencies worldwide. Blue Star Learning has been awarded an IT Professional Services (Training) Award Schedule by the GSA. As a result of this award Blue Star learning is now an approved vendor that can be selected by any agency of the Federal government to perform services under the IT Professional Services (Training) schedule. GSA has approved Blue Star Learning for NAICS (North American Industry Classication System) code 611420. Under NAICS code 611420 [Computer Training: SIN (Special Item Number) 132-50; FPDS code for SIN 132.50: U102], Blue Star is approved to provide computer training services to assist the Government in training individuals in computer skills ranging from basic applications and operating systems to advanced programming.

Blue Star wins BBB Torch Awards!
Blue Star Learning won the first place honor for the Better Business Bureau 2003 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics, for the third year in a row. Blue Star Learning won first place in 2001 in San Diego, as well as first place for the International Torch Awards in 2002. As a winner of the 2003 BBB Torch Awards, Blue Star was entered in the 2004 International Torch Awards, and was a runner-up.
The American Council on Education (ACE) is now keeping records for Blue Star classes for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). More than 100 of our courses now qualify for CEUs. The CEU credits you will earn will be posted on each course page on the web site, for your reference. If you elect to earn CEUs for a given course, you can request that the credits will be submitted to ACE for addition to your permanent record.
